Pashtun should Teach their Children in their Mother Tongue Pashto: Dr. Khadim Hussain

MESSAGE: Our Mother Language, Pashto, is the major tool through which we can mend the internal Pashtun national ruptures created and perpetuated by the colonial and neo-colonial powers. Our Mother Language carries our national history, indigenous wisdom and our collective aesthetics. Mother Language is the most effective tool for transforming indigenous resources into meaningful products which leads to economic independence. Pashto is the major vehicle for constructing our national narrative which leads to our political empowerment. Let’s teach our children history, natural sciences, social sciences and politics in our Mother Language Pashto.
