PESHAWAR: The Pashtun teenage Nobel Laureate, Malala Yousafzai, has said to the Hollywood actor Emma Watson that the last year’s address of the actor to the world leaders at the United Nations, with a view to launch her “He for She campaign” to motivate men for women’s rights, helped the activist to evolve her thoughts on using the word Feminist about her. Malala told the actor that previously she had reservations on the word ‘Feminist’ and that she hesitated to call herself one. But after the actor’s address at the UN she realized that there was nothing wrong in the word ‘Feminist’ and that she could call herself one. The teenage activist said that she is a feminist, because feminism is a word that expresses equality. She added that her father is one such man who stands for equality of sexes and calls himself a feminist.
